Dear Harri,
It was lovely seeing you in christmas and hope you've settled back into the swing up in Aberdeen. The last two weeks have flown by and I haven't written! Must be out the habit, but i'm hoping we managed to persuade everyone else to start a blog, if not we can just spam them on threads !
I could try and fill you in on christmas but tbh I can't remember too well, and i think it mainly consisted of revision and in the last week I trained for my first job haha :). We had an easy drive up two Saturdays ago I think, then spent Sunday trying to cram my whole course into one day of revision! It was serious brain overload and serious food binging. Monday - death day ! The first exam was shall we put it - not as easy as hoped but luckily the second wasn't as bad. The Beeches medics then went to Starbucks for a well deserved cheesecake (well that's what I had) and caught up about Christmas. In the evening I headed to Oceana with my flatmates , not realising that the rest of Birmingham was going to Gatecrasher. So when we got there, there were about two people on the dance floor, but it did fill up fairly quickly and had a nice first night out. The back into standard week , at the weekend went to the bullring but it ended up just being bra shopping and every possible convo about bras were discussed ! Then we had a game night, of cards and taboo but somehow got quite heated in spoons , and everyone was just shouting at each other. Sunday I spent the morning working I think , I have no idea sorry this isn't the greatest blog haha!
Then Monday and Tuesday we went house hunting, I'm living with one girl from my flat and two from flat 5. The owner of the house we went to see on Monday was lovely and seemed to be obsessed with talking about double glazing! Every room we went into we were told 'also has double glazing'! However it wasn't the house for us and we saw four more on Tuesday! One we really really liked despite the faint hint of weed in the air and pretty much decided then and there we wanted it, we went back to the agency and paid our deposit ! We had a house :). On Friday Alex came up and then Tasha came on Sunday . There was a bake off between flats 36 and 37 on Sunday and Alex being his competitive self had to make the best cake ! And I helped loads :P/ measured flour and that was all. In the evening we went to Nandos and then to see the film The Green Hornet with Katie's flatmates. Then Monday was Tashas last night so we had a catch up round takeaway and the rest of the cake from Sunday and ended up getting back round two for a seven oclock wake up the next day.
And then there's today, which has improved during the day. I went to Netball which is the most exercise I've done from before Christmas but it was really fun! Hope you're well
